What you need to know about kilometer tax rates in Belgium In Belgium, the kilometer tax rates apply to all Belgian and foreign trucks with a maximum authorized mass (MAM) over 3.5 tonnes, as well as N1 category tractors with a BC body. Your B’Moov will automatically calculate the new rate for roads used from July 1. Checking OBU data It is important to check that the permissible total weight (MMTAC) indicated in field F3 of your OBU matches the information in the vehicle documents. This will protect you from potential fines and hassles during your trip. In case of discrepancies between the declared data and those in the car’s documents, penalties may be imposed. New Road Tolls in Flanders and Brussels

New mileage rates in Flanders and Brussels. From Monday 1 July, new mileage rates will apply in Flanders and Brussels. Prices have been adjusted to promote cleaner logistics transport. The preferential rate of zero cents per kilometer granted to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) on all Flemish roads will now also apply in the Brussels-Capital region. Obligations and exclusions Although the rate for zero-emission vehicles is zero cents per kilometer, the OBU (On-Board Unit) remains mandatory for light commercial vehicles. This means that even with zero-rating, light commercial vehicles must be equipped with OBUs to monitor their mileage and ensure regulatory compliance. Changes in Wallonia In Wallonia, where the Sofico organization is responsible, electric vehicles (ECVs) will continue to be classified in the EURO VI emissions category. Wallonia also downgraded a section of the N246 at Tubize (between BK 0 and BK 1.45) and transferred it to the municipal network. Therefore, this section will no longer be subject to HGV mileage tax. Expected results: These measures are expected to stimulate the use of zero-emission vehicles, which will contribute to cleaner and more sustainable transport in the region. Although there are no new zero-emission roads added in Flanders and Brussels-Capital, the adjustments to the tariffs and the preferential rate will have a positive impact on the environment. Changes in Toll Invoicing via E-BOX

Important changes in toll invoicing via E-BOX. In recent months we have taken over the direct invoicing of tolls via E-BOX in Austria, Slovakia and Italy from our partner Toll4Europe. We are pleased to inform you that from July France and Spain will also join this group. This is another step towards standardizing the invoicing of tolls paid with E-BOX devices. E-BOX toll invoices in Italy, Austria, Slovakia, France and Spain will be available directly in the E100 customer panel. Customers will have the option to download detailed transaction lists for the roads in these countries using the ‘Trip Details’ option in the Invoices tab. In addition, for the listed countries, customers will be able to take advantage of the NETTO-invoicing service, which will further facilitate the management of costs and documents related to tolls. Now the process of activating tolls in Poland is greatly simplified and takes only 15 minutes, with no extra charge for the “Poland only” service. The new “TariffKex” code will appear on Toll4Europe invoices, which will facilitate the invoicing process and provide customers with a clearer view of the costs incurred.
